LAUREN MCFALL GARDNER

The transition from an Olympic podium to the high-stakes arena of digital assets might seem like a leap, but for Lauren, it is the natural progression of a career defined by elite performance and the relentless pursuit of excellence. Her work today is a testament to a life spent mastering complex systems—whether in the swimming pool or on the trading floor—and translating that discipline into transformative growth for global financial markets.

Lauren's strategic edge was forged in the high-pressure environments of electronic derivatives trading solutions, across multiple asset classes. Throughout her tenure at industry-defining firms like Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), trueEX and NEX Group, she has consistently demonstrated a rare ability to navigate the intricacies of complicated financial services structures.

In her current role at FalconX (a global digital asset prime broker) as Global Head of Account Management, she leads the global onboarding and account management of institutional customers to accelerate time-to-revenue and deepen client relationships. Additionally she is responsible for generating sales interest in company solutions, development of sales training & education and impacting the revenue pipeline. She is not merely a sales leader; she is a builder of high-performance cultures, uniquely skilled at commanding diverse teams and bridging the gap between legacy financial structures and the specialized demands of the digital frontier. Her approach blends the grit of a world-class athlete with the sophisticated lens of a seasoned executive to lead teams with clarity and conviction through the most challenging market cycles.

Lauren captained the bronze-medal winning US Synchronized Swimming team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.

Lauren holds a B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University. She lives in Northern California with her Olympic gold medalist (volleyball) husband and their 4 children.
